Been purchasing this brand as my go to brand. Healthy and taste's great and is the best for the price paid.
Evidently I don’t like anchovies but I wanted to try them. These were much better than the severely salted ones (I couldn’t even eat those bleck) I ate these but am certain I’ll not buy them again.
This item was sent as a gift to housebound patient. He says the flavor and texture of the anchovies is better than average. But definitely not worth the price increase to $10 per can. I won't be buying this item again.
As others have said, these are definitely more like sardines in taste and flavor. Not the salty anchovy flavor I was looking for. They look just like the big anchovies in a huge tube at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. They would be good if you’re looking for a plain fish to add to your diet. I will keep them in mind for that, as I appreciate that they are wild caught.
This is a larger than usual tin of anchovies. I was disappointed that these weren't thin white filets to use on a Caesar salad.
My husband loved this and asked that I not purchase the other brand any longer.
I used mine to make a caesar salad dressing and it is delicious.
