This was the Lady Grey tea I remembered, but could never find anymore. Very happy to find again!!
Wanted to get away from teabags and also felt Lipton had somehow changed the quality of the tea. Bought Twinings loose leaf tea "English Breakfast" and "Lady Gray". Am very pleased with the English Breakfast and have not yet used any of the Lady Gray
The tea is good. But collectors tins and both came very dented or crushed.

I’ve always liked the Lady Grey tea bags but thought I’d give the loose tea a try. Oh my, it’s even more flavorful than the bags, and bags are no slouch! I use 1 heaping tsp per 8 oz water and let steep about 5 minutes, using a stainless steel in-cup infuser.The only disappointment was the tin was delivered with a dent in the lid, but of course that doesn’t affect the quality of the tea itself. I just like reusing Twinings’ tins for other things when they’re empty.
Good quality tea. I enjoyed these Twining tea. I bought because of the design of the tins, however, the they were damaged.

This tea is smooth and delicious. It's a good amount for the money...and the tin can keeps it very fresh. I always find Twinings teas have great quality.
Although not as citrusy as the tea bags, this is still a decent lower caffeine choice in a loose tea. Not a bad value for the price.
It's the taste that always brings me back. I only drink Earl grey, lady Earl grey and a rose petal tea. I've tried to find an alternative company because it only comes in a small tin and it's a little pricy but as the title says, it's the taste. Twinings has a particular blend and I can't find a substitute which is probably why it cost as much as it does. If they ever offer it in a larger bulk size at a better price, I would end my quest to find an alternative company. I love this tea and I save the tins to store stuff in.
I'm not a tea snob, but I do enjoy a proper cup of it. I am not a fan of the Earl Grey that has been tried through the years; however, I loves me some Lady Grey! It is a more subtle form of her hubby Earl. The overpowering distinctive taste of bergamont leaves behind it's distinctive flavor in a mellow more citrusy way. This is the tea to start cool morning's off with. A cup of Lady Grey a slice of toast and you feel like you have had something warm and hearty without being weighed down. I have yet to try this iced. Some teas are better hot or cold, but I am betting this is one of those that is equally delish hot or cold. Give it a try & see what you think.
