Excellent gentle laxative that causes some mild griping but clears the body's gastrointestinal tract without leaving the ingestant drained for days. One has to make one's own decision as to how often to use depending on your individual needs.

Without going into any detail, just know NOTHING I have tried in the past has worked...but taking two of these worked (maybe too well for most people with normal GI systems). Definitely recommend these!

This is a good product. Unfortunately can be harsh.

Great product! Definitely works! But make sure your taking them when you plan to be home in case of any side effects(powerful stomach cramping/discomfort etc). Worth the discomfort to wake up the digestive tract but had some interrupted sleep and discomfort. Wouldn't say smooth..lol but definitely worth it if you are having issues!! Im sure everyone is different! I took 3 capsules two days in a row...and that did the trick! Good luck!

UPDATE: I really don’t trust the authenticity of this product anymore. It’s made me dizzy and have vertigo after taking with water, it’s not as effective as the one’s I’ve used before and the price keeps going up. Buyer be aware.I use to drink the tea and it taste horrible, so when I saw the capsules I was so pleased. I purchase these regularly(no pun intended) lol, and when I need them I need them. Shipping was slow because it said it would be here Friday and it arrived late, I was disappointed. They work good but I have to take at least 3 capsules for them to work, so I don’t know if the value for the money is there or not. I would recommend this product

I was in the target aisle looking for something to help with bloating. I must of looked distraught cause this awesome lady pulled up this product on her phone and showed me. I wish I could thank her now. I take it everyday. It’s really helped me a lot. To anyone who is very bloated and not regular this is the product for you. It’s safe to take daily and you will feel so much better. It’s worth it.

These were recommended to me by a friend. I began taking them daily as I had a big issue with "non-movement" ;) They did do the trick. I will say that after taking them daily for about two weeks I did start to have some extreme stomach discomfort. Now I just take (2) capsules twice a week and that seems to do the trick!

Very gentle on your system. I have IBS and cannot “go” without assistance. I take this product before bed and immediately wake up n go to restroom. For someone like me, that is amazing! Senna long term can make more body dependent so I alternate between magnesium citrate and Slippery Elm. Also this product has licorice root which isn’t good long term either. So remember to take breaks! The smooth move tea is also nice, but I prefer tablets because tea makes me get up in middle of night.

Sweet mother of Moses, this stuff works.I recently got ankle surgery and have been on some heavy pain meds for few days that come with a side of "consti." My doctor recommended picking up some Smooth Move, just in case the pipes got clogged down low. On a normal day, I am probably the most regular person in the world. I can easily take 5 poops in a day if someone asked me to, but the pain meds were certainly doing a number on my production of #2's. It's unheard of for me to go more than a day without pooping and it had been about 1.5 days.Just to make sure things were working, I popped four of these yesterday (2-4 is recommended) and oh man, the dinosaur poops have begun this morning. The good part is that the flood gates have opened in a reasonable manner. Instead of feeling like every sneeze or cough is putting me at risk of disaster, it's been a reasonable transition towards "This time has come..." instead of "CLEAR THE RUNWAY!! IT'S GOING DOWN!!!"Because these are in pill form, I thought they were a lot easier to take than the Smooth Move tea. It took about 12-24 hour to really kick in, but it definitely kicked in. If your pipes are a little clogged up, give the guys at Smooth Move a call. They'll get you throwing dirt in about a day or so.

I've tried a number of supplements to assist with constipation including psyllium husk products but none of them work as effectively as Smooth Move. I started with the tea flavored with chocolate but then discovered it is available in a capsule form. I immediately switched because I'm not a big fan of tea in general. That said, I don't like tea and I still drank the tea version because it worked.With the capsules, I take about 3 when the need arises. For me, it takes about 6-8 hours for it to kick in. Some reviews say to stay close to the bathroom or to prepare to RUN to the bathroom. That has not been my experience but that said, I won't take it if I know that I'm going to be out and about without easy access to a restroom. When trying it for the first time, use it as directed by taking it in the evening. See how your body reacts to it and adjust accordingly.Also, I have not taken this more than a couple of days in a row. When I do, I tend to be on the other end of the spectrum.

I purchased this product because I was didn't want to always drink the tea to get the desired effects. The product works GREAT. I love that it is a gradual effect compared to the sudden effects of the tea. When drinking the tea I would brew 3-4 bags and have results in no more than six hours; however I would break out in sweats and when you had to go you had to go and you had better be home near the bathroom. With the capsules I usually take 4 and that does the trick. Get the same desired cleaning effects as the tea but no sudden, immediate better make it to the bathroom urges like I rec'd with the tea. The effect resolves over the course of the day with the capsules, and with the same cleaning effects. With the tea the effect resolved right then and there (in one sitting for a long time). I consume the capsules less often than when I consumed/drank the tea. Hope this helps.
