There is nothing like this on the market there are so many positives to this product1- better for our enviroment2- lowers the need for landfills3- brings down the prices of plastic product and oil by lowering the demand for oil and increasing the supply of plastic products4- helps defend against terrorism by conserving on oil we bring down the prices and diminish the cash flow of the terrorist which rely on high oil prices5- you are buying a product which is a quality one and is strong and durable and at a fine price.

I've been using these trash bags liners for a few years now. I have lost track of the price comparison to similar products but it's a product I chose to buy for environmental reasons. I'm very happy with the quality and will continue to buy them for environmental purposes. We have to start making better decisions on how environmentally safe at least some of our purchases are! This is a way to start small, one product at a time.

These bags break very, very easily. I think they're maybe better suited to being a wastepaper bag, not a kitchen bag.

The bags fit inside my paper shredder. I have not yet tested the weight the bags can carry.

I was looking for kitchen trash bags made with a high recycled plastic content and these bags filled the bill.

Haven't had any major rips or tears but they are quite thin and have made sure to not put too much in one bag.

I appreciate that this is the only recycled plastic kitchen trash bag that doesn't fall apart when it is full. This is much better than the drawstring ones which always fall apart.

These trash bags are strong and hold a lot.

I have been using these bags for two years I have never had one rip or break. Works great for me as well as our environment.

These bags are my favorite kitchen trash bags. Very sturdy, easy to tie.

Strong bags that can hold a lot of kitchen waste. No drawstring makes it a lot less convenient to tie up. I just stopped tying up my trash bags. They are white bags.

Seventh Gen. is a great company -- excellent products, eco-sensible packaging and processes. These bags are just OK though. They can hold a pretty heavy weight (can empty 2 kitty boxes of used litter into them) but tear very easily (have to be *very* careful not to let anything sharp, like the edge of a plastic kitty box, touch the bag).Fine for soft kitchen garbage; not so great for emptying the litter box. Unusable for anything sharp (broken glass etc.).

These are just ok. If using recycled materials is important to you, maybe these are worth it; I'm still undecided. I'm not under the illusion that these are earth-FRIENDLY (how could any plastic bag be that?), but I am glad that Seventh Generation makes an effort to use post-consumer and recycled content; small bits count. However, the bags themselves aren't great. Not terrible, but they leave something to be desired. Specifically, they seem to break under less strain than most kitchen bags, and they lack a drawstring. These two things combine to mean that they can't hold very much without breaking. We try to limit our household waste anyway, but still--nobody wants garbage leaking all over the place when it comes time to take it out, and taking it out more often means we're using more bags, which is kind of counterproductive from a waste standpoint. So, like I said, these are ok. At least the price was decent.

These are good kitchen trash bags, and I love that they are made primarily from recycled plastic rather than virgin petrochemicals. Unlike the Seventh Generation bags I used to get, these have no drawstring. Instead, twist ties are included. If you empty the bags when they are not totally full, you can tie a knot in the top of the bag.
