This detergent leaves ZERO residue. The citrus scent is mild; and somewhat present after drying. depending on the fabric. Our bamboo bed sheets, for example. But not everything, which is okay. Everything comes out very clean and fresh. Husband has eczema, so I'm very picky about detergents. This is the first 'clean' laundry soap which totally eliminated the slight 'sweat' smell from his cotton pajama pants and shirts. So happy to have found this; wish I hadn't waited so long, as I've used this brand's hand and dish soaps (mandarin orange)for YEARS.

I really like this detergent! It cleans great and is lightly scented.

I am always skeptical of "good for you/environment" products because they smell off or bad but this smells heavenly, and I just feel good/clean with use. My cat likes it too, I noticed she licks the sheets when I put them on right after washing, soooo weird!!

The orange smell is intense when you open it. It wafts thru the air when washing as well. After it is placed in the dryer it smells great too. It loses scent right after dried until cleans so well I don't really care.

The product in and of itself, is good. There just isn't going to be a good way for it to be packaged and you'll get a box delivered to your house that has soaked up half of your jug and you will definitely not get your money's worth.

I am very sensitive skin and this is one of the only products that makes it so I don't itch all day. I have bought this product a number of times and we'll buy it plenty more times

Works as well as the other Seventh Generation products on cleaning portion but the Citrus scent is no where to be found after the wash. Disappointed because the lavender version retains the smell. Until Seventh Generation changes/improves formulation, go with the Lavender version.

Really like this, but every time I receive it from Amazon it's always exploded a little in the box. No other complaints despite it being messy upon arrival.

I love the smell of this product. It cleans good on colored clothes but not so good on white clothes unless you mix some bleach on whites then it cleans better. :)

Cleans well. Scent is pleasent but too weak.

Tough stains? Bad smells? Laundry found under the couch after a couple of weeks? This detergent will clean that and not leave a residual stickiness or a greasy feel behind. It smells really nice. Soft and not at all over powering. It's the first detergent my allergies haven't run out of town the first time I used it. I used to have three or four different detergents around. One for stains, one for deep dirt, etc. don't need those any longer. Just one. I even follow the directions on how much to use!

So fresh and so clean! Sensitive to skin and leaves a fresh citrus smell. I used to use Trader Joes and will be switching to this one because of the wonderful citrus smell

Cleans great, no stains. I use in conjunction with gold Clorox. Scent is minimal so not overwhelming and I'm pretty sensitive to chemicals but do very well with it!

I have multiple chemical sensitivity, which means I cant use most detergents as i will have a skin reaction. Seventh generation is the BEST as my clothes get clean, its good for the planet, and I dont have a reaction!Shipping was quick and packaging was great.
