For a conventional box curry this particular variety of S & B is really quite good.

Being single this curry pouch is very convenient. I usually add a little thinly sliced ribeye steak to it and it's a perfect portion. This is my go to when I need a quick lunch or dinner.

this is easy to take to work for lunch. Just pour on instant rice and you have a meal in less than 10 minutes.

Our son had my hubby try this prodwhen we were visiting him. And my husband really liked it. My son had bought it at a store, but when I checked on Amazon they sold it. Price was very reasonable and I got a box of 5 or 6 fir the price.

Boiling in the bag works better than the microwave option. The flavor is authentic. Tastes even better the next day.

As a Japanese-American, I've grown up eating Japanese curry at home so I can say this is a very good instant curry brand. I personally can't stand curry this hot, but I buy this for my spice-loving fiance and he loves it so much. I've bought this from here five times (about to a sixth time) and he's been very satisfied with the product. It's very inconvenient to take a trip to my nearest Japanese market to buy these so I'm very grateful that this is sold on Amazon.

I rarely use this product as a stand alone.Typically In the morning will boil water and then add chicken. Bring it to a boil again, turn to low, lid on and sit on simmer until dinner. This could be one hour or 5 hours. Use tongs to lift the chicken out of the pot and the bone will fall away back into the water (now chicken broth!). Now add Curry and you have a masterpiece!I would say that "hot" is really medium.

This is one of my two favorite premade curries. It's a Japanese curry, not an Indian one, so if you don't like your food so spicy you cry, this is the curry for you.There's nothing easier than preparing this curry. You can throw the bag in boiling water and let it cook. You can heat the sauce in a saucepan. You can throw it on a bed of cooked rice and microwave it for like 90 seconds. However you want to do it, you're going to get an excellent vegetable curry with almost no effort. This and the slightly milder House Foods curry sauce are delicious, cheaper than going to a restaurant, and probably easier than getting all the way out to your car to drive somewhere to get food. Of course, it's not going to be quite as good a fresh curry, either homemade or from a quality curry restaurant, but for a couple bucks and a few minutes' time, this can't be beat.

I have reordered this curry four times now and i will continue to reorder! It is super yummy! I prefer the mild but it is not available for this same deal. If i were to buy these at my Asian market they would be around $4 each so clearly amazon has the better deal! They are not spicy just Asian hot. I cannot tolerate hot things but have no problem eating this curry!

I bought this thinking it was the paste to make the sauce. It's not. It is the ready made sauce. What's more, it includes potatoes and carrots that are cooked beyond recognition. My children, who usually like golden curry, wouldn't eat the vegetables because they were super mushy. The flavor of the actual sauce is good, though.

While this isn't the best ever curry mix available, it IS pretty good. What makes it worth buying is the simplicity. You literally just boil the bag in a pot of water, cut it open and pour it over cooked rice (or noodles) and you're done. Instant curry dinner for one. (or two if you are just snacking) The box is marked "Hot" and it's got a decent level of spice or heat, but it's not hot by my standards, if you're looking for fire breathing hot curry, you'll want to add some spices of your own and do some doctoring here. But again, for a quick curry fix or snack, it'll work fine. There are some small carrots & potatoes in the packet already & they are ok, totally edible. I usually cook a small lamb chop or pork chop to add to the rice for a full meal after a busy day - makes a nice enough cold weather meal with a favorite movie type of thing.
