Great rice for making sushi!!

Use in our Japanese cooker. Very quick and stay fresh for 4-5 days in the cooker warming. Good buy.

Sushi rice is hard to find in most grocery stores. A great product and really like the hard plastic container. This is the second time I have purchased and will do again.

My son expressed an interest in making sushi- and with no knowledge on what rice I would need, having never made it and only enjoyed it during fine dining, I was at a loss. Bam- sushi rice! This rice cooks so easily and makes excellent sushi! Thank you for making this!

We love the flavor and texture of this rice, especially for nagiri and maki but also makes fantastic chicken and rice casserole! The resealable containers are perfect and reusable for many things once emptied.

Unfortunately, the seller shipped the wrong product to me. They let me keep it, which is nice. But I really need SUSHI RICE. And I am now forced to order a different brand. I've had the Sushi rice many times and I love it. I also love the product that they accidentally sent me, but I can't make sushi with it. The manufacturer is wonderful. But this seller is not helping themselves, or the manufacturer, or the customer. The photo is what they accidentally sent me instead of the sushi rice I ordered! Its very good stuff, but it not what I was trying to order.

This is the only sushi rice I buy, it's my favorite! Never had a bad batch and love the packaging. However, I bought it on amazon last July for $22 and the same pack of four is now $35! Just found it online through another retailer for much cheaper. So watch the prices.

The race is great easy to cook. The washing and wait till its clear, takes many washes. If you wanted to make this I would get it soaking and washed clear maybe half hour before you start cooking .

Our family eats a lot of rice, and as far as sushi rice goes this is our favorite. We've tried many others, but we always come back to this one. If you follow the directions, it cooks up pleasantly sticky every time - never mushy! Good flavor too. Yes, it's expensive, but in my opinion it's totally worth it..

...I'm hooked on this Sushi Rice.... I was never a 'rice head'...but this is awesome. I put a cup of rice, 2 tablespoons of seasoned Rice Vinegar and a cup and a half of water in my Rice Steamer/cooker and in 35 minutes 'Waa-laaa'...... worked like it should! Great rice and tasted amazing with some quick California rolls! What i've done is cooked alot of my rice and stored it in the fridge. Then when I decide I want some sushi for a meal I can quickly pull some rice out and roll up a roll or two. Great for guests too. The rice wont probably stay well for more than 3 days. But Ill find out soon enough! Definitely buy this!

Have used this rice for years and it never disappoints whether you use a stove-top pot or rice cooker. If you have rice often and don't want to bother with cooking it too often, Make a larger amount, rinse cooked rice in cool water, drain well, and freeze in portion sized containers. Can be reheated in a microwave without loss of texture or flavor.

well it comes in groups of four. which is a lot. i know you can buy a big bag of rice for less and in all honestlyi dont know if it makes a difference in sushi but i like the taste of it. I don't dig the amount of washing you have to do though. You do have to was the rice quite a few times. The instructions are written on the side as well ingredient recommendations.

this was a great bargain compared to the prices here in Alaska and then finding the correct rice...learn to be patient when making it, learned the hard way by not doing so, but once we got the second batch done, we had some of the freshest and greatest tasting Sushi...and we got creative with fruit, mini cabbage rolls (sushi rice really is awesome for such) and the grandkids minds are so busy with what will they create next. Wonderful product. Thanks so very much and we'll be back!! Though I am not a close friend of the Terminator (for those that know Arnold Schwarzenegger famous line)!

Purchased this rice for the first time back in December and we will never go back! It's perfectly sticky sushi rice and tastes wonderful. For just the two of us, the four containers will last a good while. We eat sushi one night a week, generally, and we've gone through almost one container now (in about 3 months). We are very pleased with our purchase and will continue to buy this rice.

Since most grains really bother me rice is a staple in my diet and I am pretty fussy. So tired of chompy rice! I prepared this one as directed on the package because measurements were different from what I've used and it was perfect. I live in a high altitude so I can steam a bit longer if I want it really sticky and it doesn't affect the taste or texture, which I did the second time I made it.I have this on subscription because I use so much and the price is terrific that way. Very happy with it.

Not ever trying this rice before made me a little hesitant when I was ordering it. However, this rice is fantastic!!! It did not come with directions for the rice cooker, but as that is how I do all of our rice, I jumped in. My husband was thrilled with the flavor and texture of this rice. We had lived in the orient and fell in love with sticky rice over there. Super yum! We are looking forward to our next order as well.

The rice is great and the containers are great too. (The containers make great light-bug lanterns). The quantity is decent but one would expect more for the price. However, if you are like me- far away from any place that may sell small grain rice (sticky rice, sushi rice) then this is actually a decent price for buying on line (especially with free shipping if you are a prime member). I searched the web over for a good price on this rice and this one ranks up there in lowest price AND best quality (and you get those awesome clear containers that can have a multitude of uses). If you live where you can buy it locally, it would be a lot cheaper to do that. The rice is of high quality; the bonus being that is grown and packaged in the U.S. (Alvin, Tx).
