This product has risen in price and I excepted the inconsistencies in the length of the product inside the wrapper when a case cost just under $30 but now that it’s hit $39 - no way!Overall I like the product taste to be fair but I like a good aged steak too but not willing to pay the price!So for an overall rating it is a 3!Give a decent volume in the wrapper size and consistency length and an affordable price, $30 then it would be a 5 star rating!

I have been buying Reed's for quite some time. The original recipe helped with my nausea from gastroparesis better. This recipe helps ok which is why I still purchase it. At least until I find something better.

Updated: Fast shipping. Flavor is good, with the right amount of spice. These were recommended to me. I’ve ordered 3 times now. Twice I’ve gotten the product in a green box, and 1 time in a white box. I wish I could specify to receive the chews in the GREEN box. You never know which one you will get. I do not like the consistency of the chews in the white packaging. They are harder to chew and break apart in clumps, really sticking to your teeth. I get the chews in the white packaging have a powder sugar like coating to keep them from sticking to the wrapper. Chews in green packaging are softer and easier to eat but are smaller than those in white packaging. Either way, it helps to let it sit in your mouth and soften a bit before chewing. Individual wrappers are hard to open, tearing off at the wrong place. At least they all have the same taste. They are addictive like candy. Priced a bit high in my opinion. Pros and cons to both chews in green and white packaging or I would have rated a 5.

UPDATE: I bought a second box (of 20 smaller boxes) of these from a different seller and they all arrived melted, stuck to the wrappers and nearly impossible to remove. When I went to set up a return the Amazon system told me returns aren't allowed for this item (!?), which means I've got to call Customer Service and try to get Amazon to take them back. It's especially odd that they arrived melted in that they arrived in just two days, so it's not like they sat around in a truck forever. I should say that the first box I ordered came from Tal DG, and those arrived in fine shape.So while I love these candies I'm deducting a star because I now feel much less confident that the next order will arrive in good shape.I really like these! The first sweet taste is quickly followed by the very spicy/hot ginger flavor, but it's not a flavorless hot, it's real ginger. Buying in a large box like this means they're a fraction of the price of the individual small boxes from the store.

I love these ginger chews. I use to buy them at Whole Foods but they stopped carrying them. They did offer to purchase them for me but at a higher rate. Glad I bought them myself on Amazon. I have tried other ginger chew candies but these just have the right balance of spicy ginger heat and sweetness for me. I really enjoy them and will continue to purchase them on a regular basis. Also, there is some inconsistency from box to box in that some of the ginger pieces are a softer chew and a few are harder to chew but after eating 8 boxes of the candy most are the same softer chewy texture.

Awesome. We weren't sure what to expect with these but they were big hit. Too spicy for kids which was the original intent but one of the better adult ginger candies out there. I wasn't sure if the spicy nature would make heartburn worse or calm the stomach. Seems to be more calming and is a good treat. I got a little frustrated with trying to open these but after you learn the trick of folding open the seam and tearing from there, it is a snap.

If you love ginger chews & are okay with peeling the wrappers off (maybe why these are so inexpensive?), this is the best deal that I have found. It could be that mine only stuck to the wrappers (but I can still get the entire piece out with a little effort) as I live in AZ & the heat had melted them in their boxes. In any case, I just popped the case in my fridge & pull out a box when I empty one. It's nice to always have them on hand. Any time I have any kind of upset stomach, I use these. I also just like the taste. The brand is my favorite & sells for much more in my area. Will order again when I run out.

My only real criticism of these little chews is that they are a little too sticky. They are sometimes difficult to unwrap and they stick to my teeth too much. I actually tried a different brand that was even more sticky so these are an improvement, but I sometimes end up sucking on them instead of chewing them. I am afraid they are going to gradually extract all of my fillings from my teeth!My wife bought me some ginger candy from a local asian grocery that I much prefer. I wish I hadn't bought the Reed's candy in bulk. It is not a bad product but perhaps intended for people with teflon coated teeth.

(My very first review...)What I got is different (but better) than the Reed's Ginger Candy picture. This yummy chews comes in a bulk-box of 20 small boxes, and each small box contain 10 candies making a total of 200 candies. Each candy / chew is wrap in an **edible** rice paper and then in a wax paper. I'm very impress with the whole packaging, and the edible rice paper is a nice surprise. I hate those inner-wrapper that comes with most candies making eating-candy a messy experience. The candies are very addictive. The only small complain I have is that the ginger-taste is too mild for me. If you are getting this for morning / motion sickness or migraine, this may not be a good choice. I would recommend crystallized ginger. Hopefully, the Reed's crystallized ginger candies are not this mild. My favor is W&M Ginger Glace but can't find it online.
