I’ve had this out for over a week now and none of the wildlife will go near it. I had one squirrel try it out but never went back.

Great value for the money when you have a lot of small birds around to feed. Even the squirrels come around for a treat. I’ll definitely be buying from this seller again

Tried this once for my ball python since reptibark wasn’t available. It was ok. Was hard to break apart. Wasn’t the best for my snake. I’m sure this is good for other animals.

My critters like them but they do tend to move them around.

These are so much better than birdseed. They last about 2-3 weeks even with all the wildlife, particularly the deer, elk & turkeys we feed all winter long here in the mountains of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

I read about it falling apart before arrival, but mine was fine love it. I’d buy again.

Deer, chipmunks, and a variety of birds all love my feeding block. I enjoy watching to see who visits my yard for a bite. Last a fair amount of time. Worth the money

So I took a drill and cut and milled out a few inches to create a shallow bowl. Then milled the drilled out material in my seed coffee grinder. Added cheep chunky peanut butter. Then added chia, hemp and flax seeds and black oil sunflower seeds. Mixed it all up with raisins free from food bank. Made my own suet cake. Drilled a few holes through the bottom of bowl for water drainage. Put in my suet. BAM! Birds love it! And they peck out the bowl deeper a little at a time. I will just use my left over bulk seeds and peanut butter and refill. Myself and the birds love it. And gives me something to do and stay connected to my birds! I can get creative and make my own different flavors of suit. Watch, someone will use this idea and sell it as an edible bird seed bowl. No waste! Yes I am retired and have little on my plate! I’m bored.

These blocks usually last over a month with 10, free range, highly spoiled, and over fed pets. They’re not overly excited to have it but they never seem to get bored with it either. They just constantly peck at this each day until it’s completely gone. Makes for a great long lasting treat.

Amazing how many birds ,squirrels , rabbits, deer etc show up and eat from this feeding block. We spend hours watching them. Thank you for making this product.

We purchased this block for the bird feeder. The block was too hard for the sparrows break off seeds, but would be perfect for deer or rabbits.

We place a coconut hull (for flowers) in our hanging basket and place the block inside the hull. The hanging basket we use is decorative wire with holes. The hull contains the block and residual seed from falling to the snowy ground. The birds love it. We find our sparrows and finches eating from the block daily. The seeds that fall on the ground are quickly eaten by the doves. It holds up in our winter weather and the snow. It is usually not gone until June depending on how many birds find the block. It is much easier to place the block than to trudge through the snow to fill the feeder. Hope this helps in your decision to purchase this food for our winged friends.

This big, bulk block is great for back yard feeding. I buy this to feed the squirrels. We have several squirrels in our back yard and for years we tried to deter them from eating out of the bird feeders. We have built a feeder, or actually two, just for them and I use this big block in one of the feeders. They love it. We can enjoy watching them chase each other! I have this block on a monthly subscription and it will usually last until almost the end of the month. A bonus, as squirrels are messy critters, the doves come in the morning and eat what the squirrels have dropped on the ground.It is heavy and bulky to maneuver for those who may have a hard time with heavy objects. However, it is easy to unwrap, the block holds together well, but I would put it in a sheltered area as it does fall apart in rain. Altogether, it is a great product.

I bought this hoping to keep the raccoons on the ground rather than hanging off my bird feeders. Nope, the feeders were more popular by far, even with this block easier to access. However, the squirrels and chipmunks did enjoy this seed block, and in turn, the cats enjoyed watching them visit more frequently. It lasted about three weeks.One downfall, when it rained, this thing made a mess on the deck. It started to (understandably) fall apart as it got soaked in a storm. As the rain dried, the honey stuck the seed to the deck like glue. I suggest putting it in or on something that can drain when it rains, or skip that and set it in grass or dirt.

I have purchased this block 3 times now. When I had it elevated 3’ above the ground it lasted about 2 1/2 weeks. The wildlife wrecked the elevated feeder so I placed a new block in a wooden tray on the ground. The new block lasted 4 days. Once the block is half eaten something must drag it away for themselves. It’s very popular with all the critters in my garden.

Expensive compared to bags seed but, can last for months. Have bought several of these. Great for insuring birdies have a food source even if other feeders have been emptied by big critters. Installed on a platform with a deck screw coming up through the bottom. Just set the new block on it and rotate it till it is seated. Raccoons would just push it off, otherwise.
