Has a medicinal scent that lasts a long time
The smell is not lemon and it smells like men’s body wash
The "soap" dispenses easily. I was hit with a strong perfume scent when I washed my hands. I thought the scent dissipated but it really just was slightly less. It didn't say that it was scented. I use the Pears bar soap for showers and it's great with no scent. That's what I thought I was getting.I am disappointed and will try to return it.

Gentle, sudsy and softly scented. Pears liquid is similar to their bar soap, though perhaps a bit more bubbly than silky.
Pears Pure and Gentle is very good for hand washing. It is very gentle on your hands but does clean them very well.
This is the liquid soap for the bathroom. The scent is fragrant and the quality is exceptional.
Pears is a brand that at one time you could only get at the Vermont Country Store. It has a great scent. I also get the body wash. Highly recommend

A year or so ago it was reasonably priced.Today's cost just makes it not worth it.Quality soap and easy on the skin, but the value is not there.
The soap gel is thick enough to where one pump easily does the job and leaves my hands feeling soft and chap free. Love the wonderful scent too!
There’s something about the smell of Pears soap that makes it really unique. An earthy spicy scent that lingers, not overpowering, but certainly forward. It’s gentle on the skin too. We are aware that many scented products can be hard on your body and the environment. But the aroma is sort of intoxicating, and maybe against our better judgment, we’re happily addicted.
Works well, but I don't care for the scent, which is very medicinal. This is a matter of personal preference.
I’m 68 with very dry skin, but with Pears Pure & Gentle Hand Wash, my hands don’t get cracked and dry. I still use hand lotion at bedtime, but am able to wash my hands and have them feel comfortable during the day. Will try the shower gel next. I highly recommend this product.
I like the smell but don't think it's for me. I'll find a guy to give these to - smells awesome and I know it's quality.
The product is ok. The scent in not same Pears soap that I remember. It smells minty.
Love the soap - hate the primitive, hard to use dispenser pump: sometimes nothing comes out, sometimes a massive amount shoots out.
This is really nice soap. I'm not 100% in love with this scent, but I think others might really like it. If I'm not mistaken it smells a fair bit like Dial anti-bacterial soap. Not terrible, and it's a quality smell, not super cloying or artificial, just not for me. The pump mechanism has been a little tricky too. Overall I'm happy and will order again, just a different scent.
I hadn't tried this soap before, but given that there isn't a lot of selection in the stores here right now I decided to try some different soaps from Amazon. I had heard of Pears but never used it. I'm so glad I ordered it. First of all you only have to use a little to get a nice lather and the color is really nice, but the best thing is the smell! It has a spicy kind of smell that I find very pleasing. I liked it so much I ordered a 6-pack. Highly recommend.
