Very moisturizing

some people are really pleased with this. I was not. also the label is all in german.

It is an amazing crème, I’ve been using it for years to remove my makeup, there is nothing better.

It works but it is sketch. Not very comfortable not knowing exactly the origin. As mentioned by others, this one might be truly manufactured in germany. However it seems it’s manufactured for different countries? Mine seemed like it was for Italy.But the main reason I’m leaving 3 stars is because i received mine damaged (which is expected with a tin can and it’s ok) however the tin foil seal was broken. Considering the little information about origin, shelf life etc and with a broken seal… it’s risky. I was desperate for some moisturizer so I took the risk and kept it.The cream is nice and effective.

I loved this cream. It is rich and you only need a pea sized amount to go a long way. I use this at night and wake up with moisturized skin like I’ve never had before. I’ve also mixed this with someBB cream for a glowy makeup base.Would recommend this 10/10. Not greasy at all.

Fabulous. I used Creme de La Mer in 04 and this seriously reminds me of it. The beautiful fragrance is the same (love it) and it’s nice and rich like CDLM. I can totally see this being way too heavy for some. I’m fifty with post menopausal (hysterectomy) skin and type one diabetes. While quite greasy and separated when applied, it definitely blends and leaves my skin butter soft and healthy. Cheap as chips- German formula only. I use it on my entire body. No more dry scales or itching.

Glad I found this on Amazon! Much cheaper on here than on the other website that sells the Authentic Made in Germany Nivea Creme.I've been using Nivea Creme for almost 10 years. I have lived in Canada and the ones being sold there, although 'Made in Germany', somehow lack the ingredients Limonene, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Linalool, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamyl Alcohol.The one I received has all the German formula/ingredients, so I know and believe it is Made in Germany, though not explicitly labeled on the tin. Before purchasing, I had to confirm with the seller first and they confirmed it is from Germany.This is the only moisturizer I use on my face. It can be greasy, so I dab a tissue to remove any oils/grease, and I wake up with a smooth and soft skin! I have oily skin, but I never experience any breakouts with Nivea Creme. I've always been told I look young/youthful (Wink!). I also use the American version, but on my hands and other parts of my body.I highly recommend the German version Nivea Creme!

I fell in love with Nivea when I was younger, but somehow or another I stopped using it and was buying just whatever was in "style" at the time. However, I rediscovered this amazing product while I lived in Greece. Not only does this moisturize like no other lotion, it hydrates, lasts all day, and a little known fact here in the States, is that this is a GREAT tanning agent!! I naturally burn and NEVER tan...I did what the locals did, and used it before I went outside, to the beach, everything. I did not have to reapply after I got out of the water, and I tanned like crazy. Just do yourself a favor, and whether you want to use it to tan or just to make your skin feel amazing, and get this cream (I favor the blue tin)

The tin is dented, but the inner seal was intact. As indicated in other reviews, it is made in Germany, and the directions for use are in Spanish and Portuguese, and Italian, not a problem, but it does look like the tin made a rough journey to the Amazon warehouse, and then to my address. An excellent cream with many emollients. Great barrier for wind scorched skin. Worked well on hands too. This would be considered greasy by many people, buy it is a great barrier or sealant for winter weary skin. I'm glad I ordered it!

This cream is where its at!!!!! It is very moisturizing, it absorbs way better than the very same Nivea thats available in the United states. And i don't seem to use as much as the U.S. Nivea.. This one is better overall. As I said--- It is way more moisturizing... and it is in a better container in my opinion. I like the tin a lot better for some reason. I love the glass container as well, but the big tin is cool... i use it for my beads and beadwork supplies.I'm not sure why this isn't what is sold in the U.S., but it is a superior product to the Nivea here in the states. The Nivea in the states is good as well, but nowhere as good as this one thats from Germany.I will definitely keep buying this Nivea each time I run out....it is worth it!!!!

My reason for buying this product was to substitute it for La Mer face and neck cream since many bloggers/reviewers claim that it has similar moisturizing effect without the hit to the wallet. I tried it and it does. Unfortunately, unlike La Mer, this cream makes my oily acne prone skin break out. I really really wanted to use it as a face cream considering how moisturizing it is. But now I am using it as a body butter. Fortunately, no breakouts. I like it best when I get out of the shower/bath. It is not as easily spreadable as other butters but when it is warmed it absorbed beautifully. NOTE: It does leave a white cast until fully absorbed. I love how supple it makes my skin feel and delicate fragrance. It didn't work for its intended purpose but its not a throw away either.

I received the genuine nivea creme made in germany. though the jar was slightly dented, it is not the fault of the manufacturer. the cream is white and very thick. i would recommend using a very small amount, warming it in your hands and then applying to whatever part of your body needs it.nivea has been making this cream for 100's years and there is a reason for its popularity. it is especially good during cold, windy winter months.the only problem with this creme is the smell. it is very strong, smells like a dusty old house with decaying flowers. To those who are sensitive to smells, it could be really obnoxious.i wish cosmetic manufacturers stopped or at least, lessen the % of perfume in their products. unfortunately, nivea is not the only company doing that. japanese skin care, like shiseido and french products made lancome tend to be strongly perfumed as well.please, be aware of nivea creme made in mexico, malaysia and other countries for the american market. those creams contain 2 toxic ingredients: METHYLCHLOROISOTHIAZOLINONE and METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE, which are banned in europe. Unfortunately, they are allowed here and can be bought on amazon for 1/2 the price of the authentic german nivea. it seems some sellers sell them as authentic, made in germany. that is why there are many negative reviews from customers who received them and were thoroughly disappointed.if you are only interested in nivea creme made in germany, maybe it would help contacting the seller prior to purchase. good luck!
