This is great tinted sunscreen that is easy to blend and fits in a small purse. Good quality brand and great value.

the size is super convenient and the natural ingredients haven't given me a reaction! I'm allergic to a lot of ingredients in sunscreens and this one has been great. the tint is good, my only tiny issue is that it goes on a lot like makeup and so it LOOKS like makeup (can be seen very clearly ON the skin) but it is a stick sunscreen not a lotion sunscreen so that makes sense. still looks better than a white cast! will be buying again.

The product is a little greasy, but I use this stick for my under eye concealer. It is creamy enough not to sink into my aged undereye wrinkles while it brightens the undereye and is sunscreen too.

I like that it’s tinted, easy to spread, convenient twist up, and it blocks out the sun!

Like I said above, this definitely wouldn’t be a substitute for me for foundation but it did kind of have a smoothing, blurring effect that I really liked.It felt great on my skin and kept me protected from the Costa Rican sun

Who knows if the sun protection really is the protection they advertise? It’s a good idea. I like the tint and I’m just hoping it really does offer some protection..

I bought this to use around my eyes. The price is right and overall this is a decent product, but too emollient for my needs. I'm on the fairer side of light and the tint is good for me. It's on the softer side and applies easily; fairly emollient, which is better for some than for others. Unfortunately I'm a little oily and have hooded eyes, so the product gathers in the creases of my eyelids. I think the texture would be better for dryer skin.

I've been using this sunscreen on and off for few years, and always get back to it, even after trying different brands and solution, so it remains one of my favorites. I had tried several different brands of mineral sunscreens - both sticks and creams, and this one is my go-to for 80% of use cases such as outdoors, beach time, city walk, even office on some days. It is not without drawbacks, but once you learn what to expect, with enough planning, it works.Color: it is a perfect match for my skin tone, none of the other sunscreens that I tried came even close to that (they are either too orange or too white). My skin is between neutral and warm on scale 2 (1 would be the lightest), it is Caucasian mostly.Texture: as with many mineral sunscreens, this one will often have some shine when put on my face, but I don't mind it at all. To me that looks like a "healthy glow" makeup. Sometimes I would gently use a napkin throughout the day to wipe sweat, and that helps a lot. I don't wear my hair open on windy days as they might get stuck. I have this problem with other mineral sunscreens, so it is expected. I have other type of sunscreen for those types of days, but it dries my face, so I always plan what hairstyle to wear vs what sunscreen to use. It might get some time to understand how to spread the sunscreen, as it is somewhat thick - it is easier once you warm it up a bit against your skin.Sun protection: never had problems. I have rosacea, so even short amount of time would create red spots the next day, I am that sensitive even during winter time. This sunscreen always protects me, and I never have problems with it.Skin comfort: it feels very comfortable on my skin throughout the day, I believe my skin is mostly normal or somewhat dry, not sure how that would go with oily skins. A lot of cream based sunscreens make my skin feel dry or sometimes even burn - all for the comfort of being non-sticky; so the choice is often obvious to me in this regard. A big bonus is it never irritated my rosacea; must be all the minimal ingredients.Removal: hydrophilic oil is the best way to remove, as is with other mineral sunscreens. A gentle wash afterwards, and then MLE-based minimal cream to get my skin moisturized.Overall, this is an excellent product in my opinion, but it comes with understanding how to make it work for your lifestyle and use cases. What I had learned is it might be impossible to find the perfect product that works all the time, but this one gets the job done for me for most of my use cases.

First purchase of a solid sun protection for my face. Would be great to travel with as it is not liquid. I don't use makeup on my face - just tinted moisturizer - so this seems to be working. I've only used a few times and it rubs in rather easily. Doesn't leave my face shiny. Doesn't seem to dry it out too much either (it is winter and very dry out right now). Will be curious to try this in summer when it is warmer out and see how it does there. For now I am enjoying the product and glad I purchased.

I like the ingredients, the price isn’t bad. It’s a little smaller then I thought it would be but again it’s fine for the price. I just wanted to note that this products takes me quite a while to rub in and to get it to absorb (I know how the product is supposed to perform by kind of acting like a shield, but I’ve used other mineral sunscreens where I did not have this problem) and leaves the skin a little sticky. So I usually feel an urge to mix a primer with it and maybe use a face or setting spray and that seemed to help just a little. But honestly without it, yeah its a bit thick, streaky and sticky. Other then that I do like it, I don’t recall having a problem putting makeup on top of it but just in case I’ve been using it mostly on my days off when I don’t put in makeup.

This is really tinny. Small.Your you give it a couple of minutes and blend well no perfect but better than the mineral with the white cast. My skin is Latin color and it turns out well.But for the price I think is expensive because of the size, no sure if I will buy it again.

This product is excellent for reapplying while out., either alone or over makeup. The tinted stick doesn’t offer enough coverage to be used as a foundation (personally due to blemishes and hyperpigmentation), but it could for someone who does not have these issues. I also love it because I can apply it OVER foundation without ruining my makeup. To do this, I take a foundation brush, rub it across the top, and dab it on my face. No reapplication is without it’s flaws, and bronzer, blush, highlighter, etc. isn’t visible after reapplication. But, it’s replaced with the Manteca glow 💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻 (iykyk) Great sun protection and easy to apply!

First of all, I have to comment on the smell of the product. I am someone who is very sensitive to smells (particularly in face products) and reading other reviews that commented on this having a strong fragrance made me hesitate to try it. I am happy to report that this sunstick has a light and pleasant natural smell that dissipates very quickly. It has a subtle fragrance that reminds me a little of colloidal oatmeal (like a lot of Aveeno products) and cocoa butter. Kind of like an oatmeal cookie? After applying, the scent disappears very quickly and I don't notice it for the rest of the day. At all.As a sunscreen, it works great! It is so easy to apply- just swipe on and lightly blend. The tint is fabulous on my fair skin. No foundation needed after this (at least for me). It is creamy and moisturizing and has a slight "balm-like" texture. After it's applied and rubbed-in, I don't feel it on my face...however, if I touch my face later in the day, I can feel the product on my hands. It is not a light lotion by any means, but I think it feels great. Very soothing.

I’m always on the lookout for mineral spf (> 30) for the face. I look for different ones to put on at home for the beach, to easily reapply at the beach, and for when I am out and about. This is a great one to apply before the beach and while at the beach. You can tell you are wearing it (which helps when applying at home before going in the sun) and it looks a bit solid on, but there is no white cast. I can put this on without a mirror and massage it in a bit (less of a coated/solid look) and not worry I am going to look odd. This brand also makes a more liquid /almost makeup version. I usually use that before I go to the beach AND have used it when I’m to be out and about in the sun but for a more social/day outing occasion versus casual beach. The liquid form is matte but seems to blend in well. Gives some coverage which I find a bit “not me” (I am not a makeup/foundation wearer), but it looks good! I will continue to buy both. Re how well these items work: no burns, no freckling or brown spots, and especially no melasma which I am VERY SUSCEPTIBLE to getting. Phew!!!

This is SO EASY to apply and then it’s quick to rub in because you can barely see it anyway since it’s tinted. You will want to buy lots of these! I keep several in the house, one in the car, one in my purse, and one in my makeup drawer to apply daily in summer! We LOVE this product! The whole brand is excellent but this tinted stick is the easiest of all to use! I’ve tried other natural brands and this is still our favorite for ease of applying. Don’t waste time or money on other brands!

When the product arrived, I was shocked as to how small it was. 0.5 FL oz is TINY. Not sure I would've paid $12 for it if I realized how small it was.The product goes on smoothly, it does not provide any tinted coverage from what I can see.Great to throw in your purse/bag for face protection when you need it.

works great, stayed on for 5 hours while jet skiing without reapplying. tint color is ok, better than the typical white... but you need to blend well and already have some tan/color going. smells like stale chocolate. if your face has no color, this is going to look strange...still, better than the zinc oxide white tho. I used primarily on nose and forehead. surprised how small the container is....about the size of a lighter. perfect for on the go. price is quite high but worth it.
