Great taste
Great Flavor!
Easy to drink if you want to. Very healthy. I trust the Japanese company cuz be honest.You can use it with soy sauce with gyoza. Not a very strong taste!
its vinegar what's not to like?
The company improved the cap which made a huge difference. Before I had to chisel out the hole and consequently plastic got into the vinegar. I strained it and saved that cap for the next bottle. I'm glad the company noticed and corrected the cap problem!

I saw this on a "Bicycling around Japan" show on NHK's cable channel. I can't read anything on the bottle as it's all Japanese, but the flavor is wonderful.
Excellent taste and great way to deal/package bottle so any small amount of leakage is well contained (small amount did trickle down to label but was not significant: doesn't change opinion)
I just love mirin. It has a sweet, subtle flavor,as opposed to rice vinegar. This dark distillation is similar, but still sweet, rich & maintains its smoothness.Great for salads or making your own crushed ginger salad dressing. I recommend using regular mirin

This Japanese Black Rice Vinegar adds some great Asian flavor to your sauces. Better than regular rice vinegar - has a spicy kick to it without being hot. Makes great chili dipping sauce with Sriracha for your potstickers, rice, pork, or shrimp. Also does well in Teriyaki Sauce or Japanese BBQ Sauce. Versatile seasoning if you fix your own Asian food. Highly recommended!

This product is delicious! I made homemade pickled ginger and it is the best pickled ginger I have ever made. Way too expensive though, debating on whether or not to purchase again. Perhaps only if the price goes down considerably.
