I love this product, but one of my boxes was destroyed. They were very good about refunding me my money. The product itself is really really good. Taste like when I was in Ireland as a really creamy texture and a great taste.

I encountered this oatmeal while on a motorcycle trip to Helen, GA. Stayed at the Riverbend Motel and it was served in their complimentary breakfast. I had it every day it was so good. Found it on Amazon and of course had to buy some. Heartier than Quaker and more filling.

Not much flavor, pretty bland.

My grandson loves this oatmeal and wont eat anything else.

I've been eating this oatmeal for years. Smooth and creamy, not like other instant oatmeal.

Tried their oatmeal cups and was amazed at the taste. So we decided to try the packets and we were not disappointed. The flavor and texture is so much better then Quaker Oats that we have been using for years. This is now are go to oatmeal.

love this product and I keep lots of it on hand now during uncertain times, just discovered that the last six boxes I ordered, still in plastic bags three per, were regular flavor not maple brown sugar. The regular is awful. I tried flavoring it with brown sugar.....nope...no good, tried adding maple syrup, the real stuff not corn sugar etc....nope...no good....so 60 pouches of regular go into the trash today. I have three NEW boxes on the way soon already ordered....let's see what I get....need to check it and not trust that it will be correct

I have a good friend who introduced this oatmeal to me. I had no idea it was instant oatmeal. I was a big fan of another major oatmeal brand for many years. But when I tasted this oatmeal I was totally blown away. The flavour of this oatmeal is 2nd to none & well worth paying the higher price.McCann's Irish Oatmeal is the only brand I will buy from now. Based upon my experience I recommend for you to purchase this product.

As many have reviewed, this is a top-notch product. 4 out of 5 stars only because of Price. Full of natural flavor, not too sweet and wonderful texture. You will be extremely happy with this product. However, it is definitely not worth the cost! Although a person can buy similar products with the same nutritional value, the minor sacrifice of sweetness, flavor or texture will cost you about 1/3 to 1/2 of McCann's cost. You must decide on your own, as this is in my opinion one of the best oatmeal products out there...but at a cost of double to triple...NO in my opinion.

Aside from the obvious truth that maple brown sugar is the inherently superior form of oatmeal, McCANN'S oatmeal stands out among the instant brands. It has a better texture than other instant oatmeals, and the sweetness is just exactly right for an everyday oatmeal breakfast or snack; since it's not too sweet, you can easily add a few drops of maple syrup if you like it sweeter, but don't have to worry about it being too sweet.This is also the only instant oatmeal that I can enjoy dry, right out of the serving pouch (though you'll need a big bottle of water if you're eating it that way.) It mixes great with protein shakes to give you a filling meal replacement, and I'm told goes well in non-citrus smoothies.Buy this stuff by the case. It's good for you and tastes great.

We have been a fan of this brand ever since we discovered it 3 months ago! We eat this every single morning and very happy knowing that we are doing our bodies good by eating healthy and lowering our cholesterol! I have my Dr's appt this coming week and I cant wait to get lab work done and see how much my Cholesterol has lowered because 3 months ago the Dr wanted me to start taking pills to lower it. Instead, I hid the pills in a drawer and started eating this oatmeal every morning and my sister did the same and in just one month when she had eaten this her DR was amazed she dropped her cholesterol by 40 points!!! Great! So, I am hoping that in 3 months mine is going to knock his socks off.lol.I have this oatmeal set up to automatically be shipped to me every 2 months! I might have to change it to once a month,lol, my son likes to eat this even at night sometimes and I have on occasion done the same. Bon appetite!

What more could I want at breakfast? This oatmeal isn't too sweet, but it doesn't sit in the bowl like a lump of paste, either. It has body and enough sweetener in it to give it some taste. With a banana and some cold juice, I have a good breakfast; and my doctor kids me that I can start eating Big Macs any time. (He can't believe how low my cholesterol is. I certainly don't attribute the level to this product, but eating sensibly doesn't hurt.)By the way, as a "controlled" epileptic, I appreciate a breakfast food that can be fixed extremely easily. Basically I just watch the kettle until it steams, then add the water to the cereal and stir. What a deal!

I purchased this product looking for something of higher quality than what I could find at my local grocery store. This product did not disappoint. For starters, it tasted fresher. This may be due to the fact that each serving is sealed in a foil packet instead of a standard paper one. I also found the flavor came through a lot more than my Quaker oats brand. I could really taste the maple goodness. Finally, I am not sure if these are called something, but when I had Quaker oats, I would often find myself biting into something that was hard, maybe the consistency of heavy paper. So far, I haven't had this issue with McCann's. If you like oatmeal but want something that tastes better than your standard store brands, I recommend this.

I have purchased many of McCann's oatmeals. Both the plain slow cooking variety and the instant flavors. I discovered this brand while reading a Celiac blog somewhere. As I recall, McCann's does not let anyone into their plants to test for Gluten (they are persnickety) but I tried the product anyway since it was suggested to try oat products from the UK. In the past 3 years I have never had any issues with the McCann line of oatmeals. The brown sugar flavor is my favorite, I make 2 packets at a time. The unflavored slow cook kind makes great oatmeal raisin cookies too!!!
