Crisp, not soft and not too sweet. As cookies go they were perfect to me.

Best chocolate cookies ever!
These chocolate cookies are delicious! I love them, as does my son-in law and my great grandson. I can’t eat overly sweet cookies, and these just satisfy my sweet craving! They are crunchy and could be used for making crusts for a chocolate cheesecake or eaten plain, as I enjoy them. They are thin and crispy. They’d also be great with pudding or ice cream, or even dipped or sandwiched with frosting.
These cookies taste rich of chocolate and have nice crunch.
These cookies are really good.They aren't very sweet and they have a nice light chocolate flavor.They are the perfect after dinner dessert, with a cup of coffee or tea.This is the cookie I have been looking for....for a long time ( basically an Oreo without the filling).They have a diameter of 2-3/8" (6cm) and have about the same thickness as an Oreo, but they are a nice cocoa brown.They do stick in your teeth if eaten dry, which is where the coffee of tea helps because if you dunk them first they don't stick as much.I would imagine these would make a wonderful ice box cake, they have a similar feel as the old Nabisco "Famous Chocolate Wafers", though if memory serves those were a bit sweeter.They would probably also make an interesting tiramisu, though I would imagine soaking the cookies could be a challenge because they don't hold up to handling while wet like lady finger cookies do.They would also probably be a good base for a chocolate piecrust.They are an awesome value for the money.All in all they are a good cookie and I will definitely be buying more.

These are about as close to ‘ice box cookies’ that I remember as a little boy in Philly
I chose these as a replacement for discontinued Nabisco wafers for an “ice box cake”They were perfect, and they are tasty just on their own! One comment — I couldn’t figure out how many wafers came in one package so I ordered 2. In fact, I only needed about 1/3 of one package! No problem really since they’ll last a long time, but I would have been more content without an extra package to store away.

Chocolatey but not too sweet and totally delicious. Crisp, great with hot cocoa, tea or coffee. The cookies would work great for Refrigerator No Bake Cakes. Also, the chocolate variety is more tender than the original plain biscuit, there is a big difference IMO. Highly recommended.
These aren't what we North Americans would call cookies. They are crackers. Thin and crisp. Nice crackers. However, there isn't much flavor to them. Even though the say they're chocolate, I could use them for cheese and they'd work fine. No one would now the cheese crackers are supposed to be chocolate cookies.
They have a good chocolate flavor, but they are dry. Have something to drink nearby before you eat them.
I decided to give these Goya cookies, a try. These are so delicious that I can eat an entire. package (one roll). I seem to be ordering at least two boxes with each order that I place. So yummy!Oh my gosh, these are so addictive, in a very good way. I’d rather have these cookies then I would breakfast lunch or dinner! And I won’t share them either. Not even with my kids or granddaughter at least not yet. Thank you so much, Goya is an amazing company!
I prefer the taste of the Goya Maria cookies over other brands. These chocolate Maria’s just hit different in a good way. The vanilla ones are delicious as well. I love the fact that these come in smaller packs. This makes it convenient for packing as on the go snacks or when you just don’t want to open a larger package and have it go stale. I 100% recommend to at least try them to compare the taste and if you don’t like them, you don’t have to re-purchase them. The only down fall is that we can not control how Amazon packs these for shipping and unfortunately my first purchase was shipped in a bag and they arrived smashed.
