Great for electric dryers

Works great. My advise is to leave the door open to the room it is in as a lot of moisture goes into the room. My wall were dripping. Now I let it run for 20 closed then open it to put heat in the basement and laundry room.

This can save you money on your heating bill. Recover heat and humidity from your dryer to warm your house. I suggest adding glue or sealant around the screen as it is not attached very well. Be sure to clean the lint out after every use.

Other than it should have maybe metal straps to hold it on your dryer exhaust it is what I was looking for. The screen was a little hard to get off @ 1st but worked easier after I had put it on & off a few times.

Only use for electric dryers only.If you use this for gas dryers you will be emitting carbon monoxide inside the home.These items were banned .Electric dryers use only..

It does work however not really made to attach to the wall unless you put a piece of metal or are willing to screw it into the wall. Other than that it is very flimsy and will come apart as your assembling the hoses to it I do recommend using normal for / four and a half inch metal hose clamps to attach it to the vent. That said it does seem to keep the lint down. And does put enough heat into the room. Make sure you do not have a gas dryer this is not for gas at all

I've had for over a year. Heats up basement in winter time. Shuts off for summer. Great idea to save money in winter and laundry smells good awesome in winter.

It's a good source of heat in my basement in the winter when doing laundry. Always had one in the homes i have lived in

It's smaller than what I envisioned and cheaply made. It fell apart twice while I was putting it up, but now that it's installed, it works as advertised. A load of laundry raises the temp in my 1200 sq ft house 1-2 degrees, and it's FREE heat. I recommend letting it vent outside for the first 10-15 minutes of drying time, unless you want a lot of humidity added to your inside air.

I have used this to vent my electric dryer for years. First and most importantly: you can never, ever, use one of these if you have a gas dryer. With a gas dryer, there is a small danger of a gas leak, which you would know because of the smell, but there is a HUGE danger of carbon monoxide poisoning which is odorless and colorless and can kill you fast or slow before you know there is a problem. So this review is for electric dryers only. I have used one of these for years, directing the warm moist air into my house in the winter when warm moist air is desirable, and turning it to the outside in the summer. Everyone must clean the vent in your dryer every time you use it to avoid fires, but that is necessary for all dryers of every kind, whether you use this product or not. There is also a little screen on the front of this product that will get clogged with lint and you have to clean that off to keep it working efficiently, but that takes just a few seconds every few loads, and only in the winter when I am using it. The only problem was the little switch that directs the airflow out or in. It does not stay open when you want it open or closed when you want it closed, and I have to use a bit of duct tape to keep it in the position I have turned it to. Not a biggie. I would buy it again definitely.

I installed this on the wall (drilled holes in the back of it) and connected the hoses..... It says "Do not use with gas dryers" but I haven't experienced any issues..... Most gas and electric companies use rotten egg smell in their gas supplies so you would know if you have a leak into the house..... It definitely helps heat my home. NO MORE WASTED HEAT..... Only downside is that it does increase the humidity in the home... No biggie!
