Used to live on Couscous and soup back in the 90s.Put a can of soup in a pan and bring to boil, add spices.Stir in an egg, or not.Put some Couscous in to the soup, stir.Turn the stove off and walk away for 10 minutes.Dinner.Now for some reason the local stores don't stock bulk Couscous anymore.Must be the celiac disease craze.So, this is Couscous as Couscous should be.It's marked as 'medium grain' but actually on the small side of 'medium', cooks in 5 minutes.Turns your soup and stew chewy.

Very, very finely textured couscous. Much finer than the normal couscous you buy at the store. However, it's good in soups and sauces. I haven't used it on its own.

The couscous is great, but the bag sucks. Hard to open and not in any way resealable. Had to pour it into a Tupperware. Also expensive. I'm seeing bulk couscous for half the price per oz.

Good quality couscous. Tasty and easy prep

I grew up with this couscous and to me, that is the only couscous I can use when I make Tagines or Tabouleh. The grains are very fine and fluff easily in a couple of minutes with hot water. It’s very easy to make and versatile.Season it with salt and olive oil before putting the hot water on top of it and cover it. I make it in the bowl I will serve and cover it with a plate. It’s the easiest thing ever.

Light and fluffy once cooked

This is a very fine grain and delicious couscous. I do not know why the grocery stores carry only rather horrible couscous mixes full of various dried ingredients that just get in the way. Plain couscous has become nearly impossible to find. There is an entire world of flavor difference when you start with a good product. Unless you plan on using this in one meal, plan to store it in a glass jar with a tight lid as the plastic wrapping is temporary at best. Mine was carefully packaged from Amazon.

I love this type of cous cous. I use chicken stock and a little pat of butter and boom ! A great side dish with high fiber. I had a hard time finding Moroccan cous cous locally and I continue to buy these through Amazon. I highly recommend this product.

Our grocery store stopped carrying couscous and didn't know what to do...went on Amazon and found the Dari Couscous and ordered it. Came in a few days packaged very carefully. Made some for dinner and it was absolutely great. Actually better than the product I was getting from the grocery store! It looked and tasted more like the couscous I ate when traveling in the Middle East. So glad I found this and will only use this product from now on.

Item was opened and leaking. I read similar reviews about it and yet ordered because I thought seller should have done something it. Couscous taste great. I will continue ordering but I hope the seller can do something about the packaging so it doesn’t leak. The wrapper is too thin I guess.

Great couscous. It’s the one I used when I lived in France. It’s 5 times cheaper there but def worth the extra cost to have it here in CA. Delicious when prepared with a couscous streamer (couscoussier). My package arrived opened which was disappointing but thankfully it didn’t affect the taste and it was doubled bagged because.

The size of the grains was not medium but small, but they cooked-up nicely enough. I had had real medium sized couscous which were a bit larger and easier to fluff with a fork when done. These do cook nicely, but are a bit too grainy and smaller than other medium sized brands, which was annoying, as the smaller granules tend to stick together and this affects the taste and texture, making it more like cereal and less like a good couscous. A slightly larger grain size would have been perfect. I had ordered other brands of medium couscous and was far happier, as the grains were larger and easier to separate with a fork after cooking. These grains do not separate well after cooking, which makes for a pasty dish, and not individual and nicely separated grains.

Cooks fast, easy as boiling water. Mince meat and add vegetables. Cook meat and vegetables, add water boil, add couscous boil. It microwaved fine in a medium bowl or can use a pot on the stove. Shipping was high will order from another seller.
