These tasted better than I thought they would and I liked the softer texture vs a gelatin marshmallow. I would buy again. They don't melt as well as a gelatin mallow though.

My husband likes marshmallows, but stopped eating them when we adopted a vegan diet. We were excited to discover Dandies. They are delicious and make it easy for us to follow our ethics.

my brother bought marshmallows at the market without checking ingredients. that night we toasted a few and next morning threw the remainder out agreeing they tasted bad. ingredients were corn syrup, dextrose, and sugar with artificial vanilla. I purchased these after looking at several Amazon offerings. they are great and, given star inflation, would award 6 or 7 if possible. check ingredients and you will know why. along with great taste and texture a dollop of nostalgia topped it off.

Seems to be the only way I can get vegan marshmallows is online. I'm so glad Amazon carries them. Great flavor and made my day making smores with the family. I always have to not participate in those camp fires because I don't eat pork and there's always pork in most marshmallows. Great value and great price.

My Granddaughter loves to make Rice Krispies treats w/these all of the time or s’mores. Since She is vegetarian She can’t eat regular marshmallows. Only thing is that one pkg comes fine & the other pkg always comes pretty smashed. They need to find a way to ship w/both pkgs don’t get smushed. Has happened twice now.

My French bulldog has food allergies and vegan marshmallows were recommended by vet as treats. I wish they came in mini size as I don’t give him a whole one and they get very sticky. Also work well to give him pills.

I have ordered these vegan marshmallows many times over the years and love them. Most of the time, quality, taste and color has been good but this time the color was off (cream with brownish spots). They are also on the expensive side.

I am now a regular customer. The flavor and consistency are spot on. Even more so, the customer service is impeccable. When I placed the order it was marked as delivered but never reached my house. I checked with my only neighbor but they didn't get it. Ultimately it was the delivery company, not the manufacturer who is responsible but when I reached out to the manufacturer they replaced it and quickly! It's a rare quality to find in a company.

And hey, if you didn't know that most marshmallows are meaty... time to do some Googling.I still eat meat sometimes, so I'm not to be brushed off as a vegan-crusader (not that that would be a bad thing, but just saying...). In any case, I am a HUGE fan of marshmallows.This is how I make a S'more:Toast a marshmallow (on a stick over a fire if you can).Get a graham cracker and stick a piece of Hershey's on it.When the marshmallow is slightly too dark...throw the graham cracker and the Hershey's on the ground. Stomp on it with your foot.And then put the delicious marshmallow in your mouth.These are the best marshmallows I have ever eaten. I am going to find a way to enrobe them in dark chocolate I am. You try too, and then tell me how you did it.And for as often as I eat marshmallows or bake with them, which is not nearly often enough, there is no concern on my part that these might be more expensive. The ones in your grocery store are awful compared to these.

I haven't had normal marshmallows in nearly 20 years, so I can't say with absolute certainty how they compare, but they certainly taste how I remember marshmallows tasting.I do find them too sweet, but I find all candies too sweet these days, I bought them to use in recipes or to make a healthier smoore with, probably when I sort out what to use to replace traditional Graham crackers and chocolate, they will all pair well and the sweetness will be subdued by the other two ingredients.All in all, they get the job done! But at this price, I'd only want to hire them once a year or so.

My reason for choosing these was that I keep kosher (according to Torah, not according to rabbinic judaism)--because the perversion of DNA is an abomination in the Torah, genetically modified organisms are not food. (All food is kosher because, if it's not kosher ["acceptable"], then it cannot be called food.)This product hits right on the money by being not only vegan but also non-GMO.In comparison to "conventional" brands (those that use GMO ingredients), they are a little less fluffy in their chew, and a little denser than the conventionals; but they melt like the conventional ones and the flavour profile seems identical to me.Now, of course, they aren't as wonderful as homemade (America's Test Kitchen has an amazing recipe and video on YouTube for marshmallows, which you can also make kosher by using non-GMO ingredients and grass-fed beef-only gelatin), but I will definitely refill this order once these run-out if I am not inspired to make my own.

I married a vegetarian and she doesn't like the regular ones, so I was fine with trying these. They are just as good as the regular ones for roasting. Now, I'm a patient guy and a veteran marshmallow toaster when it comes to getting these things a golden brown and they responded just like any other. The s'mores came out delish (make sure you start with slightly warm chocolate, otherwise it just doesn't get gooey enough. Couldn't tell the difference. Now, I would have given 5 stars if (A) they tasted BETTER than the originals or (B) they were the same size. They're a bit smaller and just as good. That's all you need to know to make your decision.

These marshmallows are fantastic! My girlfriend is vegan (I am not) and I needed to make her a cake or some desert you can put candles in for her birthday... I decided rice crispy treats was the way to go after I found these on amazon. I was skeptical at first, I mean vegan marshmallows? Really? Well it turns out standard marshmallows contain gelatin and for vegans that is a no no, but these Dandies pass the vegan test as far as ingredients go. I bought the 3 10oz packs and they came super fast but that's because I have Prime. Anyways, I opened a bag and did a quick taste test. Size, texture, shape and believe it or not taste all matched that of a non vegan marshmallow. I was impressed. On the bags there was even a recipe for rice crispy treats so not only did these taste awesome, but I didn't need to search online for any special vegan recipe for rice crispy treats it was right on the bag. Fast forward to the party, everyone loves them and they were a hit. They were so good I didn't even get to have any leftovers the next day... I absolutely recommend buying these for anyone, vegans and meat eaters cuz they taste great.

I have purchased these many times. They melt almost as good as animal (pig) joint marshmallows. The children love it. If you not vegan then you will tell the difference but it is so close to the real thing that it brings back delightful memories. We also avoid refined sugars and processed foods but this is once in a while treat since they are almost pure sugar. It makes us feel normal when we are camping. They can be roasted but the outside does not caramelize and slide of like the animal joint marshmallows. I've tried the kosher marshmallows made from fish when I was not as strict and they had a fishy edge to them. I have also tried the contender which is also good but this one is the best vegan brand we have come across so far.
