Not too much to say. If you like orange flavor to drink these are very good. I fill a one gallon jug and use two of these as I like a fairly strong flavor.
I used to think grape was my favorite flavor of CL. Until I tried orange. It's not too sour or too sweet. Dissolves perfectly (unlike some CL flavors) and is easy to chug. I tried less expensive sugar free orange drink mixes, but this beats them all.
We love this product. It is a great alternative to sugar laden orange juices or drinks. While not at all an exact taste replica of orange juice or even Tang, we find it's crisp orange citrus flavor and light finish to be very pleasing. We actually prefer the mixing 1 flavor packet to 2.75 - 3 quarts water, in lieu of the 2 quarts recommended; as a bonus it stretches a bit further while suiting our taste. It is extremely refreshing over ice. I keep a filled pitcher at work and at home and am satisfied drinking that and water over the course of the day. Crystal Light Sunrise Classic Orange Drink is a great alternative to having a sugar-laden glass of orange juice in the morning. Unfortunately, it's hard to find in the grocery stores out here in Las Vegas. As a Type 1 Diabetic, I am always looking for less sugary treats than the ones I used to enjoy before being diagnosed. This makes a great replacement for the orange juice I used to have each morning before breakfast. It has a great flavor and doesn't have the aftertaste that some artificial drinks have. Thank goodness Amazon stocks it!
Glad to have found this here. The price is right, and we can't seem to find this delightful flavor on our grocery shelves. The flavor is a lot like sugar free Tang, and has a great nostalgic appeal in that regard. Not overly sweet or artificial tasting, with fresh orange notes, just the right balance of tartness. It's a great sugar free morning drink, especially for those trying to cut down on sugary juices. Of all the Crystal Light flavors, this is our family's favorite.
Since Kraft discontinued Sugar Free Tang, and I have consumed my stash of it, I tried Crystal Light Classic Orange Sunrise. I love the stuff! I drink it all day and night. Only one thing I noticed: Kraft has screwed us out of two quarts of it by reducing it from "Makes 12 quarts," to "Makes 10 quarts." Like all the other lemmings reducing the product they give us for the same cost, they think we don't notice the shrinking volume of food. I do. It makes me nuts.But do try the Sunrise Classic. It is very tasty! Time to refill my glass!
This stuff is so darn good. The flavor isn't a whole lot like actual orange juice, but it's nothing like orange Kool-Aid either. It tastes and looks a bit like Sunny Delight, only not as viscous and not as cloyingly sweet. I don't find the artificial-sweetener tang as strong in this drink as it is in some flavors of Crystal Light. This stuff is a pleasant and much healthier stand-in for fruit juice with breakfast.It takes a while for a small household to plow through 20 packets. If I could find this flavor at the grocery store, I'd probably buy smaller quantities. However, it has a very long shelf life and the packaging is reasonably compact, so it's worth buying in bulk if local stores don't have it.
