Love this and I'm surprised to find this! Good size candy so it lasts! I keep a bag in my handbag so if I get that tickle in my throat I pop one and it helps!

These have the most wonderful root beer flavor, and I love how long they last in my mouth. No weird aftertaste. They make my mouth happy. ☺️

Final Edit 3-23: got cherry and lemon and they're pretty delicious too. I probably won't be trying the other flavors so this is likely my final edit. After mulling it over a bit, my final ranking is something like this, but I would easily recommend anything above the root beer flavor, and even that is only because I'm not a fan of licorice flavor:raspberry > apple = watermelon > lemon > cherry >> root beer >> horehoundEdit 3-15: got watermelon and green apple in today. First, I tried green apple and was pleasantly surprised. I expected it to be super sour like most green apple candies, but it's just slightly tart and gives a pleasant sweet apple taste instead. I think I still like raspberry the most, but green apple pulls a surprise close 2nd! Watermelon is closer to what I expect it to taste like and is delicious but is slightly more sour than the apple. I also bought a package of the raspberry ones since I never seen raspberry drops before. Well, these are pretty good, but the root beer one in particular taste kinda like licorice? I'm not the biggest fan of licorice to be honest and felt that the classic root beer barrel candy is better than these if you want root beer in candy form, although the candy is still overall good, just not my first choice. That said, the raspberry one is amazing! I'll be trying out some of the other flavors and report back if I find any that I like better than the raspberry

These have a good root beer flavor that is not too sweet and actually tastes like real root beer. They have stayed fresh in the packages and for the price are a good value. I would buy again.

I like a lot of root beer flavor and these were just not as strong as I like. They are probably fine for most people. I like stronger flavors than most people.Also, some of the candies have air bubbles that can create sharp edges and hurt your tongue. Be careful!I would still recommend these to anyone who likes root beer flavor. brightened my day many times.

We used to go to a camping spot and the corner store there had packs of these then the spot got destroyed and flooded and haven’t found them ever since finally found them here and have kept buying them ever since

I’m pregnant and these are the only candy I want. They are super flavorful- whatever you do, don’t buy the big bulk bag from Amazon! It’s a different company and it tastes completely different. Claeys has an impactful flavor right when you pop it in your mouth- other root beer candies just tastes like sugar. This set is a little more expensive but if you really want Claeys candy- this is it.

These are SO good ... I think better than the old root beer barrels. Price was very comparable to local arts and crafts store. Happy that I can buy in bulk. But yes, they are very addicting. Yummy!

I've been missing my root beer fix since Michael's stopped stocking these great root beer flavored candies. Amazon to the rescue. Lucky for me I found them. Lucky for my Dad I'm willing to share. He'll get a bag in his stocking this Christmas.

You can find some flavors in some stores, but not all flavors. I have trouble with dry mouth. These taste very good and help moisten my mouth. They cost a little more through Amazon, but you can get all the flavors and have them delivered.

These did not seem as fresh as the last batch I ordered. They were economical and I gave them as gifts as they come in small bags. My husband commented that he enjoyed them.

I absolutely adore root beer candies, and these hit the spot. I'm surprised that an artificial flavor can get this close to the real deal. There's a bit of a kick to them, as well, almost like a black licorice kick, but it's not black licorice. They're covered in a bit of powdered sugar, and they remind me of a lemon drop except in root beer form. The price of these was also great! A pack of six for only 12 bucks! The only way these could possibly get any better is if they incorporate natural flavors, but for now, I'm pleased! As an added bonus, the packaging is really high quality too!

I bought these for my husband so he can keep them in a jar on his desk. We’ve been buying this brand for years because we love the old-fashioned root beer flavor. Maybe it reminds us of our childhood when root beer was the real deal, and not the watered-down version you mostly find today. These are quality candies with a nice sugar coating to add just the right amount of sweetness. The candies never stick together, and the flavor is always consistent. Six bags for under $11 – I think we’ve found root beer heaven.

Great flavor--it has a slight spiciness that the store brands lack. I don't know what it is about them, but unlike other brands, these don't rip up the inside of my mouth as I enjoy them. You know, like when you suck on some hard candies and they turn to sharp shards of sugar stabbing the roof of your mouth? Ok maybe that's just me.Anyways, they're really tasty. I feel like I'm my own gramma sometimes because I keep a jar of these in my kitchen in case I want a sweet treat.
