Why did you pick this product vs others?:Guilty pleasure absolutely necessary to cope with unmitigated nostalgia after return to US from 2 years working in London. Packages arrived with more than a few crumbs, but does that really matter?

If you miss these lovely English biscuits, these biscuits are the best. Dont know why Americans cant make a biscuit without a cream filling.
It was tasty but stale like it had been exposed to/lost the air in the package.
The bits I ate tasted great - they seemed fresh. But sadly packaging left every cookie in pieces.
Yeah one came slightly broken, taste is delicious, soft and chewy, very fresh which was surprising. Far superior to the American shortbread counter part. The Doctor lead me to a new favorite snack.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Jammie Dodgers. Hearing talk about them for years I wanted to and am glad I tried them. I am in the USA and havent seen them in local stores which is too bad as I wont pay $7 plus dollars for them again. No regrets.
I ordered these as a Doctor Who fan, and they did give me the delightful charge geeks get from sampling a foreign food featured in a beloved show. As someone who also loves food, however, I was disappointed. I have no idea how a shortbread cookie filled with plum jam can taste primarily like dried banana chips, but they do. Not that I mind banana chips--it's just unsettling to have a package of cookies taste like them. Thanks for the experience, but I'll stick with homemade knockoffs in the future. :)
