I have to eat gluten free and want to eat the best ingredients I can.... This flour is not only great for baking but is made of Garbanzo Bean flour, Potato Starch,...Tapioca Flour, whole grain Sorghum Flour, and Fava bean flour.
I went gluten-free a year ago due to sensitivity. This is the best flour I’ve purchased. In trying to convince family to go gluten-free for health reasons, I made a delicious and ridiculously moist chocolate chip banana bread with it and later that day, some killer fried chicken!! My family has all converted since!! I now use this flour for pancakes and anything requiring the ingredient so I don’t miss-out on favorite fried foods or baked treats!! Mixes extremely well with Parmesan cheese and herbs to coat fish and fry, as well as Buffalo cauliflower in air fryer, very tasty!!
We like this much more than the gluten free flours that contain rice. Plus not everyone can eat rice, so this is a great substitute. Flavor and texture-wise it's much closer to gluten flour and isn't gritty at all.
misleading package, shown is not 1 to1 flour, it is what I actually wanted, Chick Pea Flour. So I was very disappointed. I am using this Rice flour and it is also good.
The picture of the order does not match what I received which means the ingredients are not what was advertised. I received the item title (1-to-1 Baking Flour), but was expecting the item image and its ingredients (All Purpose Baking Flour). Fortunately I do not have allergies to the different ingredients, but this is concerning and a bit disappointing. I will keep the product simply because options are limited at this time, but the advertising is wrong.

Actually, a 5 pound bag was shown, then I ordered and didn't check closely. Two smaller bags were received, not totaling 5pounds, so in that regard, I was disappointed...not such a good deal. The product, however, is great.

I really love this stuff but as with anything you need to know what your using and why. This is a bean based flour and as such will probably not be the best choice for sweet things like cakes and cobblers. For breads and more savory baking this is a wonderful product. If you're needing something for cakes and deserts try Bob's 1 to 1 all purpose baking flour which is a rice base flour. To date I've not found anything I've purchased from Bob's Red Mill that I'd not give a five star rating to. By the way if you have questions or concerns they have a very friendly and helpful customer service staff that also deserves a five star rating.
We are hooked on this cereal. Great from muffins and bread just to add fiber.
5 stars as far as gluten free flour goes. Prefer the real stuff myself, but this works great when you've got people in your life that can't process gluten.
The price was less then my local supermarket and it was delivered to my door step! This is a flour I have used successfully in making pizza dough and flouring chicken before frying. D.M.
Thankful for Bob's Red Mill gluten free products. I have Celiac Disease and all Gluten Free products are expensive BUT by comparison, Bob's Red Mill is economical and the taste and texture are spot on!
