My mother's has been using this product for years and the quality has remained high. Such value for the quantity. The package contains enough to add coconut to the cake mix with much left over to top the frosting. It's an incredible way to spruce up a boxed cake bake.
I'm not a big shredded coconut fan. I love raw coconut from the tree, coconut water, coconut milk etc, I just do not like sweetened shredded coconut. However, my mother loves it. She asked me to order this for her, and she says they came fresh, The taste was amazing, the size was perfect, and it was huge which made it a great value for the money. Way cheaper than the local grocery store. She immediately made a coconut cake and this really awesome coconut pudding stuff that I actually liked, if that means anything. I would highly suggest grabbing this instead of going to your local grocery store and paying so much more. This came perfectly packaged, perfectly fresh, and it tasted amazing. Probably the best tasting shredded coconut I've ever sampled, tbh.
