A good product
The correct product was shipped early, appropriately packaged, and arrived in good condition. The product description did not inform me that I would be receiving two jars as I only wanted one jar. I made the erroneous decision that the price increase was a result of the political tariffs and not double quantity. NOT happy with the product description as I checked quantity: 1 which is how it read in the Cart.
This is the best stuff for any cooking item you use it with. It is a must for me when I make my chicken soup. It is not salty at all and gives my soup a great flavor.

I use this, mixed with corn starch, to make a pork gravy. I use this gravy on pork, ham etc.
I used this brand of broth base for years but about 2 yrs ago I was never able to find in grocery stores any longer. Tried other things, even a certain brand that is supposed to be better than anything else. It was fine but not as good as this. When I found this broth base on Amazon, I ordered 2 jars. I was so excited to finally find this broth base again. I make a chicken barley soup and had always used this broth base until I could no longer find it. My soup was good with the other broth base I could find in the store but not nearly as good as when I used Orrington. When I started making my chicken barley soup again with Orrington, my family, friends, and neighbors were all telling me how much richer my chicken barley soup was. My 50 year old son told me he had forgotten how much more delicious the soup was now that I was using this broth base again.
I boil my vegetables and rice in this broth powder because it instantly adds flavor and the salt content makes them last a little longer in the fridge. Great price, arrived quickly!
Easy to use and tastes good!
I love this broth mix. It is the best I have found. When I ran out, I tried other brands. Not at all impressed. I am happy to find this back. That is all I use to whip up quick broth. Better than the liquid form.
I have been using this product for about 6 years. I don't know if it it more expensive than other products and I don''t care. I will continual to keep using it as long as it is available. Strongly recommend you trying it.
