Expect two large, incredibly well-preserved sardines (pilchards) in a delicious sauce that would be fantastic over rice!Also fantastic when eaten plain, timidly over the sink because you forgot what you ordered and it's all in a different language.For any other sardine lovers out there, you should definitely give this one a try!
Delicious. Didn't read and was not expecting a pack of 3. So that was nice. The fish is delicious and actually taste similar to tuna. I enjoy it over toast.
I had high hopes for this tined sardines but its a little disappointing. The sauce is quite salty and the quantity is very small compare to other brands. Theres is no fishy odor and the texture is good. I dont think its worth the price.
I eat a lot of sardines and this is the first time a tin has tasted better than anticipated.
Two chunky pieces in each oval can. There was some residue stuck to the inside of the can however I think it was just some skin. They tasted fine and as expected. Chopped up one can covered a piece of whole grain bread nicely. Also product is apparently safely coming from Japan which is good.
Tasty. No issues with my delivery. Didn't notice too many scales. Nice fresh fish taste that reminds you you're eating something from the ocean but not overpowering. Sweet sauce. Good with something to balance out the sweetness. Will buy again.

1 of 3 cans arrived open and had to be thrown away. Tried one of the others and tasted very good, much better in my opinion than the ones packed in oil.
Packaging problems - on arrival one of the three tins had burst open under shipping trauma. That was a fun mess to clean up. Did get a refund for it though.The soy sauce is quite sweet, but it works well if you pour the whole can of fish+sauce over rice.Three fish per can. Flesh somewhat dry, texturally, and the fish fall apart a bit. Good flavor but maybe a bit overcooked, I guess?
