Well, first of all, I love the flavor and how Kool Aid hasn't changed over the years.This is not easy to find at grocery stores. Why it is not more widely sold is beyond me.But second of all, I love "undersugaring" this and making a drink that is lower in calories and is a little tart. Great for those hot days.Truly a great deal bought in bulk.

Best tasting Kool-aid. I make it sugar-free. I like to mix it with Stevia 100% pure, Monk Fruit , Erythrytol & Allulose powders. Mixing kills Stevia's bitter taste and increases the sweetness level.

Black Cherry Kool-Aid sure beats plain cold water or plain club soda.Pro: Stevia mixes well with Kool-Aid for an inexpensive non-caloric non-carbonated drink.Con: Adding Kool-Aid to club soda causes the CO2 to rapidly dissipate from the bottle. Maybe placing the club soda bottle in the freezer before adding the Kool-Aid would greatly reduce to loss of CO2 from the bottle when adding the Kool-Aid.

This is the king of all Kool-Aid flavors. I used to be a fan of the original cherry flavor, that was, until I discovered this flavor. The original cherry was/is too artificial to me and too tart. But the black cherry flavor, it's quite different. It's like squeezed chilled ripe cherry and your mouth just soaks all the juices. It leaves you smacking and has a much more natural flavor.The recipe calls for 1 packet and a cup of sugar in 2 quarts. But I am a man, and a man demands flavor. So I mix 2 packets and cup of sugar in 3 quarts. You can substitute the recipe for Splenda.
