Consistent taste and quality

Been using Goya brand sour orange to make Chochinita Pibil for the past 8 years. It works, no reason to change.

Others that are similar are very syrupy this product is like the real thing.

A decent substitute for the real thing

The Goya was discolored like it was old. It still tasted ok but it's definitely not fresh naranja agria.

I could drink this

But I don't drink it. I marinade sliced pork in it overnight and make something like a Cuban fajita.Way too expensive but, I have learned to use less. The bottles are plastic so it ships well.

Perfect for the chicken !

Perfect to wash off that strong meat flavor that your meat could carry on. Specially on the chicken.

Not what was expected

Didn't really like the taste. Also, was able to find this same marinade in the supermarket & it was cheaper.

Kick up your salsa and marinades

This stuff is gold. Seville oranges are impossible to find here so this is my best bet. Perfect for salsas and for Conchinta Pibil and Cuban pork shoulder. My habanero and garlic salsa was orders of magnitude better with this vs. a orange and lime juice replacement.

Maximum taste and orange pizzazz!

Delicious flavor to add to smoothies, sauces, salad dressing. Bitter orange is fragrant and really tastes like orange without the sugar sweet taste of oranges. Mega flavor and you can use a very small amount for maximum taste.

Good Substitute.

This is a great product if you cannot get Sour Oranges. I think that it is better than trying to make a citrus mixture. I do recommend that you look around at your local grocery store as I recently found this product substantially cheaper plus no shipping charges. But I do recommend this for Mayan or Cuban pork slow cooking.

Almost as good as fresh and who can find naranja atria in New England in the winter months?!

A Better Than Decent Shortcut

I use it to inject pork roast. I tried this out because I didn't have a reliable local source of sour orange, to make from scratch. Of course, not as flavorful or aromatic as making your own from scratch, but it will do in a pinch, or you can dress it up with your own spices too.

I love this stuff use it for almost everything

I love this stuff use it for almost everything! Do note that it says 2 pack but only come with one! I'm not taking a star off as I figured this seemed a little too cheap to be for 2 and I wanted one only either way. Great stuff! Also if anyone is wondering expiration on these I got it on Jan 2015, expires May 2017!
